The Basics
Simply put a Sonos ZonePlayer™ in any room you want to have music. The ZonePlayers form a secure wireless network that enables them to share music with each other and allows them to be controlled from anywhere in your house.
Sonos can access music stored on any computer or networked-hard-drive (NAS) on your home network. Furthermore, the ZonePlayers™ are also able to connect to the internet and stream thousands of radio stations and literally millions of songs to any room in your house.
You can have different songs playing in different rooms or play the same song in mulitple rooms. You can change the volume level in each room independently, even if they are all playing the same song.
The Sonos system can be controlled via the Sonos CR200 wireless touchscreen remote, using the free application for iPhone®, iPod Touch and iPad®, any Android-powered device or from any computer (Mac or PC).
ZonePlayers™
There are three types of ZonePlayer™ (click links below for product images):
- Brand New - ZonePlayer Play:3. A discrete all-in-one wireless music player with built-in speakers. Available in black or white.
- ZonePlayer Play:5. An all-in-one wireless music player with built-in speakers. Available in black or white.
- ZonePlayer ZP120. Connects to traditional stereo speakers, or use it to power in-ceiling speakers.
- ZonePlayer ZP90. Connect the analogue or digital audio outputs your hifi or home cinema system.

Other Components
Depending on where you intend to put your ZonePlayers you may require a ZoneBridge:
- ZoneBridge BR100. One Sonos ZonePlayer needs to be wired to your broadband router. If your router isn't near where you want to put your ZonePlayers, just use the ZoneBridge instead. You can also use the ZoneBridge to boost the strength of your Sonos network in situations where you are concerned about long distances.
- Wireless Dock WD100. Dock anywhere. Play everywhere. Charge anytime. That's why the Sonos Wireless Dock is the perfect accessory for your Sonos system. Now you can wirelessly play all the music that's stored or playing on an iPod or iPhone in all the rooms where you have Sonos.
Extremely Simple to Setup
The Sonos setup experience is widely recognised as one the simplest in home electronics. Because the ZonePlayers™ are forming their own secure private network, you don't need to worry about knowing long and complex wifi passwords or even know anything about networking at all! Just open the box and follow the instructions.
