Just 85 mm high and 317 mm deep, Pioneer Slim Receivers are designed to fit in any popular TV or home cinema rack. And with the “Sound Wing” mode, they are the ideal companion for Sound Wing speakers for 360° surround with just 1 or 2 speakers.

The slim VSX-S300 brings you the basics of HD home cinema, with the option to intelligently adjust the sound according to the position of your speakers using MCACC. This way, you'll always be sitting in the sweet spot for perfect audio when watching a film or gaming. An AM/FM tuner is built-in.

Eco Mode is a special power-saving feature that reduces up to 60% of power usage through de-activating unused functions.

It includes 4 x HDMI inputs.

True home cinema

Turn your living room into a cinema with 5.1 HD surround sound. With speakers in the front, rear and middle and and a subwoofer connected, you’ll immerse yourself in a lively film experience.

High-definition audio

Besides Dolby Pro Logic IIz, the receiver supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio so you can enjoy uncompressed, high-definition audio from Blu-ray discs as well.

Bluetooth audio streaming

If your phone, laptop or tablet is is Bluetooth equipped, you can live stream audio to the receiver (with optional adapter). The Sound Retriever AIR restores sound quality after transmission.

The latest, convenient HDMI technology

With HDMI you can use this receiver to watch 3D video from a Blu-ray disc. Other convenient features include an Audio Return Channel for TVs with DVD player or Tuner built-in, for example, and Standby pass-through.

Connect your portable device

If you have a mobile device to play audio from, simply connect it to the receiver using the 3.5mm mini-jack on the front panel.

Intelligent speaker calibration

Surround speakers can hardly be ideally positioned. MCACC therefore analyses the existing sound field using a microphone (included), just like a sound professional, and adjusts the sound timings to precision-tune the system to your room.
